How to diagnose
- Test clutch slip in a high gear
- Check the pedal free play
- Check hydraulic fluid for the clutch
- Listen for release bearing noise
Maintenance
- Replace the clutch kit (friction, pressure plate, bearing) together
- Replace the slave/master cylinders at the same time
- Do not ride the pedal
