BMS Diagnostics
Cell voltages, temperatures, state of charge and balancing — reading the battery’s own telemetry.
Loading…
- Battery and BMS work is inside the high-voltage boundary — qualified technicians only.
What you will learn
- Interpret cell-level data
- Explain balancing and state estimation
- Recognise a weak module
The battery management system watches every cell group, measures temperature and estimates state of charge and state of health. It also balances cells and protects the pack by limiting charging and discharging power.
Diagnosis is data-driven: look at the spread between the highest and lowest cell group, at temperature readings under load, and at how charging power behaves. A single weak module reduces usable range and charging speed and shows up as a growing imbalance.
